FAQ's
Why should I choose you over another breeder?
Honestly you should find a breeder that is right for you. You should do research on the breeder and ask many questions and verify. Once you have done extensive research, you should have a gut feeling what breeder is best for you. We like to have relationships with our puppy buyers and some people don’t want this and if you don’t want this then we are not the right breeder for you. I offer lifetime support for my puppies! Of course I am always happy when someone chooses to get a puppy from us.
What are your hours?
We don’t have set hours. If you want to come visit, you can set up an apt.
What is health testing? And do you do it?
Health testing is not just taking your dog to the vet for an exam. Every breed is different and Siberian Huskies have health issues that they are more prone to then other breeds, like hip dysplasia and juvenile cataracts, which is genetic. I believe every breeder should be testing their dogs for these issues. We test both hips and eyes.
What will I need when I bring my puppy home?
You will need a kennel, leash, collar, food, food dishes, teething toys and patients.

What is a backyard breeder?
Backyard Breeder is a general term to describe people who breed animals, often without registration and little regard to health. These types of breeders; have nothing more than a breeding goal to breed cute puppies, a lack of familiarity with the breed standard of the type of animal being bred, Lack of adequate veterinary care and maintenance, Lack of screening of potential owners (they sell to first come first serve and friends), They own 1 male and 1 female, they don’t take into consideration health and temperament, most of the time it is these kinds of breeders who are charging big bucks. These kinds of breeders breed because people buy, so please don’t support these people.
What is a puppy mill?
A puppy mill, sometimes known as a puppy farm, is a commercial dog breeding facility that is operated with an emphasis upon profits above animal welfare and is often in substandard conditions regarding the well-being of dogs in their care. How many litters are they having a year, 8-20? These kinds of breeders breed because people buy, so please don’t support these people.
When will puppies open their eyes? I want blue eyes?
About 2 weeks of age puppies will open their eyes and their eyes are blue and some do not change until they are 10 weeks of age. If you are looking for a blue eyed husky chances are you won’t have a chance to get one from us, as most puppies have homes before their eyes open.
Why do some breeders advertise Rare Coat/eye color?
There is no such thing and this is just a tactic to make money! Stay away from those breeders.
Why do you keep your puppies for 10 weeks?
This is a recent change and I have put a lot of thought and research into this decision.
Where do your adult dogs live?
They live in our home.
Why do I have to send you updates on my puppy/dog?

Why is AKC important?
Many people think AKC alone means quality, this is false! Many people are quick to say AKC doesn’t mean anything and it’s useless, this is also false. To the average person all an AKC pedigree is is a list of dog names, but it is very important because I as a breeder can look through my dog’s pedigrees and search for health issues, I can see where my dog came from and what bloodlines they have. I as a breeder, find it very important to be able to look back in past generations of dogs. If you buy a puppy from an irresponsible breeder then the papers mean nothing more than a piece of paper. I would not recommend buying a puppy from someone who doesn’t have a legit pedigree from a legit registry on their dog. You can’t tell if a dog is a pure bred by just looking at them.

Yes, Siberians are good with children; however, as with any breed, they must be taught to respect children
Should I keep my husky indoors or outdoors?
Siberian huskies are people dogs and love to be around people, so they would be happiest indoors with their family. Of course they can be outside but leaving them outside all day every day, they will not be happy and I would recommend you not get a husky from us.
Are Siberian Huskies part wolf?
No, a pure bred Siberian husky is 100% domestic dog.
